Riley Green Honors Veterans with Three Military Base Shows in Japan and Hawaii in 2026

Riley Green Honors Veterans with Upcoming Military Base Tour in Japan and Hawaii

Patriotism Runs Deep in Riley Green’s Music and Mission

Few modern country artists embody small-town patriotism quite like Riley Green. Known for his proudly American anthems like “Different ‘Round Here” and his live covers of Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American),” the Alabama native has long used his platform to salute those who serve.

Now, in celebration of Veterans Day, Green is taking that appreciation a step further — announcing a special three-show tour across U.S. military bases in Japan and Hawaii set for March 2026.

“We stand for the flag, and if you don’t like it, we don’t care,” Green has often said, a statement that’s become synonymous with his unfiltered brand of country authenticity.

Three Exclusive Shows for U.S. Military Members Abroad

Hosted by Navy MWR Entertainment, the shows will bring Green’s full band and high-energy live show directly to service members stationed overseas.

The schedule includes:

March 9, 2026 – U.S. Navy Base Fleet Yokosuka, Kanagawa, Japan

March 10, 2026 – Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan

March 22, 2026 – Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Oahu, Hawaii

Entry will be limited to those with CAC or authorized base access.

These concerts will run concurrently with the Australian leg of Green’s Cowboy As It Gets Tour, which also kicks off in March — proving the 37-year-old singer-songwriter has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.

A Heart for Heroes: Green’s Military Connections

Though Green himself never served in the armed forces, his respect for the military runs deep. Both of his grandfathers were servicemen — one in the Army, the other in the Air Force — and their influence continues to guide his life and music.

“The military has always been really close to my heart,” Green shared in a past interview. “Both of my granddaddies served… so it’s awesome to be able to honor them and shed a little light on their military experience.”

In 2023, Green partnered with Blue Star Families, a nonprofit that supports military and veteran households, raising $50,000 for nine families with help from CSX. He’s continued his partnership with the organization this year to further awareness for their mission.

That same year, Green launched the Buford Bonds Charitable Fund, named in honor of his grandfather. The initiative supports veteran-focused organizations such as Folds of Honor, and Green even joined fellow country artists like Zach Top in their Rock ’N Jock Celebrity Softball Game to help raise funds.

A Night They’ll Never Forget

Riley Green’s commitment to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces isn’t just a passing gesture — it’s part of who he is. From the heartfelt lyrics of “Different ’Round Here” to his actions offstage, Green continues to find ways to give back and show appreciation to those who defend the freedoms he so proudly sings about.

As he prepares to bring his music to bases across Japan and Hawaii, one thing’s for certain — the troops are in for a night they’ll never forget.
