A lion claws at a wildlife ranger’s boot and drags at his trouser leg on a dusty savannah track—no blood shown. Off-screen shouts call for help. Suddenly an adult Cape buffalo charges in from the left at full speed. At the last meters it drops its head and clips the lion’s shoulder, tossing it 2–3 meters in a cloud of dust. The buffalo then plants itself between the ranger and the lion, snorting and stamping until the lion backs away and vanishes into the grass. The ranger retreats toward a park truck, shaken but safe. All captured in a single 9:16 handheld shot.
